a. Note:   ave news clippings from Chester Co Historical Soc, and his will. They apparently lived in sothern London Bitain in the part that is now Franklin (actually taken from New London) near Maryland border, and atleast the paretns attended OldSchool baptist Church in Mill Creek Hunded, whre Catherine was a prominent member - according to obituary. She and her hsuband are buried at London Tract Baptist Church in London Britain. Both are Welsh or Primitive Baptist, also called Old School. Ferociously fundamentalist. Home teaching. Haven't accepted evolution yet. All of that. People are baptized as adults if they are sufficiently fortunate to have been predestined to be among the saved, and apparently none of Catherine's children qualified. Atleast one was turned off of religion for all time, others married Quakers, and most of their children who can be located are buried in Quaker graveyards. Also, relations between parents and children seem not to hve been rosy, from the tone of their wills.
  JAmes Kennedy named a grandchild John Harper in his will, presumably, one of his daughters, poss. Elisa Jane, married a Harper? He divided his property among his four children excluding Elisa Jane.
