Notes
a. Note:   46 does. Another of Jacob's daughters sometimes mysteriously added E to her name. I think Amanda R was Regina.
Not in 1850 census. She is in the 1860 census, as born about 1847.
From Watters Family Tree, Ancestry. Shows photo of large monument. Confirms she married Peter R. Day.
For some reason in 1870 census it says Rejina and Peter were both born in Wurttemberg - and her parents born in Pennsylvania. Was Jacob maybe from Wurttemburg?
1900 census has him and both parents b PA, both her parents b Germany. Months of birth. Married 34 years. He is a day laborer and they have three boarders, all laborers.
  Census confirms b Aug 1846.
Peter was still living in 1920 census, with his son Alden A age 47, and grandchild Mary E age 17 , in Steelton, Ward 5. Peter was a constable, general services, and Alden was a general laborer.
  In 1880 they aren't found.
In 1910 census, Rejina and Peter lived in Steelton, Ward 5, with son Alvin A Day and three of Alvin's children; Regina E Day age 13, Peter A Day age 9, and Mary E Day age 6.
In 1870 she has her parents, her husband's and her own origins completely scrambled. They lived next door to her parents. The enumerator got the idea she and her parents were born in Pennsylvania, and her husband, who was of English ancestry and born in Pennsylvania, was born in Wurrtemberg, which more than likely is where her mother was born, since her mother was really born in Germany and her father in Switzerland. In 1880 they are not found. In 1900 she said both parents born PA. In 1910 she said both parents born Germany.
OIn 1880 census they aren't found. In 1900 census both parents b PA. In 1910 census both parents b Germany. She died in 1919 so wasn't in 1920 census.
Pennsylvania Archives death index; cert no 87177. Steelton, Aug 9, 1919.
Note:   In the 1850 census Regina does not appear, but Amanda R. Weiss b abt 18
