a. Note:   He arrived in New York, in 1830. 1850 census he was a shoemaker. Lived in Seneca, Guernsey County, Ohio. Son George, age 15, is a farmer.
  1858 he died in Corydon, Wayne, Iowa.
  1860 they lived in Benton, Wayne, Iowa. Corydon PO. J. William was not with them; Eliza J Dean is listed as head of household with 23 year old George W Dean right below her.
  1870 she lived in Benton, Wayne, Iowa, with children Isaac N, Martha J, Annie E, and it says she was born in Maryland.
  1880 she's widowed, in Allerton, Wayne, Iowa, with her 10 year old Moore granddaughter,, born Pennsylvania, abt 1811, parents both born Ireland. Her children are not immediately around her though they lived in Wayne County, Iowa in 1880. Page 26B, supervisor's district 3, enumeration district 243, Town of Allerton. Jul 6, 1880.
