a. Note:   oon. His occupation is listed as policeman. The "BOON" grave marker at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, PA lists the birth year as 1887. He formed the first Mosquito Control Commission of Delaware County in the 1930's. He was a police commissioner and the first president of the Civil Service Commission of Upper Darby and president of the board of commissioners of Upper Darby. He was a semi-pro athlete with the Baltimore Federals starting in 1904 at the age of 17. He also played basketball in a semi-pro league and played with Jim Thorpe.
  In the 1900 census for Darby, PA he is living with his grandmother, Lucinda McClay, and is attending school.
  His marriage certificate lists his father's name as Warren, other documents show his father's name as John.
Note:   In 1910 John Stucker and his wife Eva were living with Ellen J Smith B
