Note: Obituary: Robert Harry Wilson, 56, Mt. Grove, MO, left for his reward Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 12:36 p.m. He was surrounded by some of his loving family. Robert Wilson was the third son of Edward M. Wilson, Sr. and Violet Bernice Brown (Strode). He was born, February 17, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. He was a truck driver his entire adult life. On December 29, 1982 in West Plains, MO he was united into marriage with Theresa Ann Steele, daughter of E. W. Steele and Barbara L. Koch (Erhart). To this union were born three children, two daughters Kayla M. Wilson, Sheena L. Wilson, and a son, Robert M. Wilson. Robert H. and Theresa were divorced March 17, 1999 in Steelville, MO. He later remarried.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two beloved brothers, Edward, Jr. and John E. Wilson; and a step father, Richard Brown.
Those left to mourn his passing include, an Uncle, William F. Wood, Independence, MO; his three children, two daughters, Kayla M. Wilson, Rolla, MO; Sheena L. Wilson, Higginsville, MO; and his loving son, Robert M. Wilson, Rolla, MO. Two sisters in-law, Mary J. Wilson, Independence, and Denise Hatcher; three nieces, April Wilson-Arreola, Independence, MO, Brandi L. Wilson, and Elizabeth Wilson-Taber; and two nephews, Brian K. Wilson, Independence, and JD Wilson; and three grand neices and six grand nephews; Two step brothers, Danny and Mike Brown; a step sister, Teresa; and many other family members. Cremation will take place, with ashes to be spread on the graves of his two beloved brothers and parents at a later date.
