Note: "Ignac" Koss, per the 1900 census, worked in a shoe repair shop and lived at 22 Rivard, around the corner from Willis St., Detroit. He had been in the US for 20 years, arriving in 1880, and was naturalized. At the 1930 census Ignatius was still listed as a shoemaker, age 75, living on King St., Detroit.
A 16 year old granddaughter was living with them at the 1930 census, born in MI to parents both born in Germany.
