Notes
a. Note:   St. Patrick's Church, Sugarcreek Twp., Amrstrong Co., PA, baptismal records indicate Mary's baptism on 10 Oct. 1841. Mary "Dugan" appears in the 1850 census as an 8 year old, living with her parents and siblings in Clearfield Township, Butler Co., PA.. She next appears in the 1860 census as "Maryann Dougan," age 17, still living with her family. Her occupation is listed as "domestic."
Mary has not been located in later census records, either in Pittsburgh or Allegheny counties. It's not known if she moved to Pittsburgh with her mother in the early 1860's after her father's death or if she stayed in Butler. Since she's not mentioned as a survivor in her mother's obituary, it may be assumed that she'd died by March, 1895.
