Note: Melvin Frank Ritter is the third child of Constance Ewald and Frank Ritter. He lived with his parents and siblings at 8166 Wisner Street, Detroit, MI as a child and attended Holy Name parish grade school. He was a student at St. Joseph's High School, Detroit through the tenth grade when he left school.
After his marriage in 1948, Melvin and his wife moved to a home at 33739 Garfield Road, Fraser, Macomb Co., Michigan 48026. Melvin worked at Chrysler Corp. Detroit, MI for 31 years, retiring in 1979. He returned to work at Fraser Villa Nursing Home in maintenance.
