a. Note:   Ella Regina Gallagher was one of two surviving children of John C. Gallagher and Ella Alice Kinlen. She was baptized in St. Richard's Church, Pittsburgh 26 April 1896, the same church where she married John L. O'Keefe 7 July 1916 (recorded in Vol. I, page 13 of the church's records). The Rev. J. A. Conway performed the baptism; godparents were James J. Keefe and Catherine M. Keefe, brother and sister, Ella's aunt and uncle.
  Ella died March 12, 1966 at St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, and was buried March 15 in grave 5, lot 346, section F, Calvary Cemetery, along with her husband and other members of the Gallagher family, including her parents and sister. The cause of death was generalized vascular disease. The Ray Byrne Funeral Home at 701 N. Negley Ave, Pittsburgh, handled the arrangements. Her last residence was 1415 Ella St., Glenshaw, Pittsburgh.
