a. Note:   eenager and later paid the $30 each to bring the rest of the family to this country. His birth is recorded in the Records of Lautenburg/Lidsbark, West Prussia, now Poland, FHL Film #52776, Taufregister No. Vol. 1320, 1867-1874, filmed 10 Oct. 1967, Lautenburg, Kreis Straburg, Dioz. Kuim, West Preussen, entry #164, year 1865 (no page number), and read by Ceil (Wendt) Jensen, Oct., 1999. He was born 9 September 1865, baptized 17 September 1865; parents: Adam Przytula and Joanna Psiuk; godparents Johann Loniewski and Franziska Re____. Nicholas was naturalized 6 June 1900 in Detroit, and Ceil has located those records. He appears in the 1901, 1903, 1906 and 1907 Detroit Directories as a laborer, living at 422 Lovett St., Detroit. In 1906 a Michael Przytulski, plasterer, appears at the same address, most likely a son of Nicholas. In 1905, a Michael Przytulski is listed as "saloon," meaning he worked at or owned one at 178 33rd Ave., living at 425 Lovett St., Detroit. At the 1910 census Nicholas was called "Michael" and was living with his 3rd wife, Anna, and children on Lovett Ave., Detroit. At his death in 1917, he was a day laborer with the Detroit Dept. of Public Works, still resident at 422 Lovett, Detroit. He died from tuberculosis.
