  Raised in Riverside and Newport Beach, CA, Priscilla graduated from Principia High School, St. Louis, a school run by the Christian Science Church. She graduated from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA with a B.A. degree 10 January 1936.
  Priscilla met Chauncey Thomas Wheeler in the late 1930's in Riverside, CA where she was a member of the Junior League. They married in April, 1941 at the Mission Inn, Riverside; she wore her grandmother Jean (Hayward) McClure's wedding dress. Son Robert Thomas Wheeler was born 16 Oct. 1942 and daughter Priscilla Margaret 14 July 1944. For many years the family lived at 4221 Glenwood Drive in Riverside. They moved to a new home at 2345 Arroyo Drive in Riverside in 1957.
  Priscilla enjoyed golf and sailing, often staying at the family's beach house at Newport Beach. This house had been bought by her grandmother Jean Hayward McClure, inherited by her mother Delphine McClure Howell Cundiff, and later by her half-sister, Barbara Cundiff Colville O'Donnell.
  She was ill the last 10 years of her life, suffering minor strokes which eventually required her to reside at the Community Convalescent Center where she died of a cerebral hemorrhage and arteriosclerosis 28 Sept. 1982 at 68 years of age. She is buried at Olivewood Memorial Park, Riverside, next to her husband.
