Note: e 1885 Pittsburgh Directory as a "driver," living at 104 Webster Ave., the same address as that of his father and brother Henry. Calvary Cemetery records indicate his burial in the Gallagher family plot, purchased by Catherine Dugan Gallagher in 1894, probably because of James' death. He was buried 28 November 1894 in grave 4, lot 346, Section F, in the same grave as his brother Henry who was buried 7 April 1898. James was 21 when he died of pneumonia. Cemetery records indicate his place of birth "Clarion." On 19 April 1998 I visited this burial plot and found no tombstones.
Note: This son is not recorded by John J. Houlihan in the genealogical work he did in 1962. But James appears as a 7 year old in the 1880 census in Pittsburgh, living with his parents, and is listed in th
