Note: DEATH: THE CITIZEN-TIMES, October 31, 2008 Jack Donald Dockery Sr. Hyde Park, N.Y. - Jack Donald Dockery Sr., 74, died Tuesday, October 2 8, 2008, at home. Mr. Dockery taught mathematics at Western Carolina University, Cullowh ee, N.C. before joining IBM in 1959. For several years he has been a n adjunct professor of mathematics at Dutchess Community College, Poug hkeepsie, N.Y. Born in Murphy, N.C. Feb. 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Hayes D ockery Sr. and Mae McDonald Dockery. On June 4, 1956, in Glenville, N.C., he married Lucille Watson. Mrs. D ockery survives at home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jack Donald Docker y Jr. and wife, Colleen; two daughters, Donna Dockery, and Debby Moshe r and husband, Darryl; five grandchildren; a sister, Jayne Palmer, o f Murphy, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Haye s and Eugene Dockery. A Celebration of Jack's life will be held at 2 p.m., Nov. 1 at the Hyd e Park United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hyde Park Un ited Methodist Church, 1 Church St., Hyde Park, NY 12538.
