My search for the Boaz family has been a long one. I, recently, discovered their migration to Johnson Co and knew by census records they settled south of Vienna. I'm trying to locate the cemeteries they may have been buried in. The mother, Alcy Pullen Boaz, was a 1/2 sister to my g-gdf. Her oldest son, Elisha P. Boaz, enlisted at Vienna, 1862, in the 120th Infantry. He was captured at Guntown, MS, in 1864, and sent to Andersonville. He survived Andersonville and died shortly after returning home. His widow remarried in December 1866.
