Samuel lived in Lewis Co TN at the time. * Deed from Wm. Curtis, 52 acres, Wayne Co, TN 7 Jan 1867, Deed Book"K", p. 113. (STC009). * 1850 Wayne Co TN, Dist 7, (P 20), age 13 TN, with parents. * 1860 Wayne Co TN, P. O. Cromwell Mills, age 23 TN, farmer * 1870, Marshall Co TN, P.O. Mooresville, age 34, hh 140. Golman was shown in 1870 Marshall Co TN census, as having wife,"Caroline". If this was Delilah, it is the only record I have ever seen that Delilah's middle initial would have been "C". Stricklin of Wayne Co TN appoints J. H. Stricklin his attorney to receive a distribution share which descended to William Curtis Jr. from Wm. R. Curtis, deceased, late of Wayne Cty, TN, which distribution share belongs to Stricklin by a quit claim deed. 4 Aug 1869. Attest S. W. Stricklin, W. W. Stricklin.
