Cromwells Mills, age 55 NC; farmer * 1870 Census: Wayne Co TN, Dist. 7, age 66 NC, living in hh of Resign Sinclair (fem), age 68 NC) Living next door to his son, Henry Turner Stricklin. * 1880 Wayne Co TN, Dist 9, age 74 NC NC NC; farming. This would be John Jr. (STC002) * Thomas' second wife, Rebecca Tidwell and her son,Tom, had some trouble, and Thomas & Rebecca parted. We also have the story that William, first son of Golman Green Stricklin, and Rebecca ran off together. When she died ,she was buried just inside the gate at night in cemetery on the hill in Lutts, TN, and very few people knew about it. (STC034)
