Notes
a. Note:   * 1866 State Census of MS, Tippah Co., p. 50. * 1870 Tippah Co MS census, age 13. with parents. * 1880 (probably Tippah) census, living with Wm. Lancaster family hh 183 (HAL077 p 12) * 1910 Craighead Co, AR, Black Oak, age 54, MS TN MS, with wife, Maggie; married 30 years. Lived next to his son, John William. * Lived in Mangrum Settlement (HAL073, p 2) Death abt 1910. * John Wilburn was Security, in wedding of Charlie Polk Henderson Hall to Susan Pierson (HAL118) * Birth & death dates from cemetery records of Mangrum Cemetery. * Most all records I see show John's name as John WESLEY P. Hall. I am using John WILBURN P. Hall because of an entry on one of the censuses. He had a cousin John Wesley Hall, called "Wess", which is confusing. * Deed John W. P. Hall & wife, M.E. Hall to L. O. Haislip, 40 acres, to wit, NW 1/4 of SE 1/4 S31 TS12N, R4E. Nov 14, 1900. This is land that Charlie P. Henderson Hall had redeemed from State of Ark. in 1896, that had been forfeited for non-payment of taxes in 1886. Do not know how it was then in the hands of John W. P. Hall. (HAL176) * Deed from John W. P. Hall & wife, M.E. Hall to William P. Laster, 80 acres, to wit, E 1/2 of SE 1/4 S31 TS 12N, R4E, Feb 8, 1902. This was land that he had acquired when his father died. (HAL176)
