Mrs. Lorene J. Keeney, 85, of Jonesboro, formerly of Harrisburg, died Friday morning at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Jonesboro. Born in Black Oak, she was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Keeney, and one son, Bobby Keeney. Survivors include one son, Jerry Don Keeney of Memphis; one sister, Myrtle Minton of Memphis; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 Monday afternoon at the Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Mike Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
