Samuel lived 2 1/2 miles down Spring Creek, and ran a mill there. Walton, executors of John Wilson, dec'd, sold Ann Vest and Gideon Chadwell, exec. of Samuel Vest, dec'd, 74 acres for $60 for the benefit of the heirs of Samuel Vest, and in compliance with a bond given by Samuel Wilson and Wm. Walton to Samuel Vest in his lifetime, beginning at the SE corner of a tract of the heirs of Samuel Vest, W 55 poles S 116 poles to their SE corner, E31 poles to Wm. Cathey's SW corner, N 100 poles to his NW corner, E with his line 24 poles, N 16 poles to the beginning. Witnesses: Samuel Crockett, James M. Wilson.
