Note: !* Turner, in his book, HISTORY OF SCOTTS HILL, showed a Harding Edgin as a son of Moses Wesley Edgin. I believe this is incorrect, as he does not show up in any census with Moses. However, Laura Maness Minton lists him, Harding "Hard" Edgin, as child of Moses Wesley. However, Laura also showed that his wife was Emma Helms, so Louis E. Edgin is that person. * Birth & death records from TN Deaths. Showed father: Wess Edgin; Mother: Harris, wife Emma. . Died of apoplexy at 12:15 PM in Jackson, TN on 29 Oct 1934. Information given for certificate by Mrs. James Bateman Edgin.
