We have only gotten back to Hilliard Hall. It has been a very difficult search. My husband's name is William Craig Hall, an Attorney in Memphis, TN. His father was Ralph Goodman Hall...b.1908 d.1960. His father was Marvin Beverly Hall of New Albany, MS. His father was William S. Hall; we're not sure exactly what the "S" stood for. We think "Samuel". William Columbus Hall is the father of Wm. S Hall, and ending with Hilliard Hall. This is as far as we can reach. Hilliard Hall was born at Abbeville, SC in 1772. He died after 1840 in Hardeman Co. TN. Question.....can you reckon why Hilliard Hall migrated to Haywood Co.,and his son, Wm. C. Hall, and I think other sons to Tippah Co. MS? From Hilliard Hall, how close are we to England? Do you know anything about Hilliard's ancestry? Marvin Beverly Hall, my grandfather,married Lottie Emily Raggett, and his brother Erastus Hall married her sister. We've heard of an American Indian connection between the Raggetts and the Halls, on the Raggett maternal side. Any information on this? Thanks for any help you can give us. Melinda Hall
