Note: PIMENTEL - Melva [sic] Geer Pimentel of 1623 Brookdale Avenue, Eugene, died March 9, 1982, at the age of 62. She was born February 24, 192 0, in Eugene. She was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the area. She married Ralph E. Geer on May 27, 1938; he preceded her in death in August of 1972. She is survived by her husband, John M. Pimentel ; one son, Robert D. Geer, Karen L. Rhodes, Portland; 2 sisters: Juanita Rasmussen, Cottage Grove, Agnes Johnson, Creswell; one brother, Wayne Gates, Cottage Grove, one grandchild. Private interment was held March 11, 1982 at Lane Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Leukemia Research Division.
