  Theodore Edward Nye, 62, died Sunday at the Springfield hotel following an illness of nine months. He has _____ Eugene since he was seven years old, coming here with his parents from Ohio. He has lived for the past fifteen years on his farm near Camp Creek.
  Surviving are his wife and four children: Chester Arthur Nye, Dufur; Lester H. Nye, Springfield, route 2; Hazel Beatrice Ruth Nye, Springfield, route 2; and Mrs. Lulu May Shackelford, Port Orford. On sister, Mrs. Hattie Freeland, Hillsboro and five grandchildren also survive.
  Funeral services will be held at __ p.m. Tuesday from the Poole Funeral Home, with Rev. S. E. Childers officiating.
