a. Note:   Mary (Walters) Wilson and her children came to Oregon but found no work so Jim Walters sent for them to come to Wash. Ella, Miriam and Frank Wilson were farmed out to work when they got to Wash. Miriam worked for Charlie Harlan's parents, her future in-laws, at Rock Lake, Wash. Mary went to work as a housekeeper for "Frank" Keyes, her future husband. ___________________________________ The Eugene Daily Guard, May 6, 1911, p 5:
  DIED At the General hospital in Eugene, May 6, 1911, at 11 a.m. Mrs. F. E. Keyes, of Thurston, after an illness of only a week's duration. She leaves a husband and several children. No arrangement have been made for the funeral.
