a. Note:   Joseph "Joe" Baker was a brother or half-brother to Albert Baker, Ellen Walter's husband. "Joe" Baker had a heart attack and died while sawing wood with a hand made saw. [Joe and Albert were brothers.]
  "Joe" Baker had a place at Palouse, Wash. that he sold to "Frank" Keyes. "Joe" and "Jenny" Baker lived in Palouse but returned to Oregon after the death of "Jenny's" sister, Mary (Walters) Wilson Keyes. "Joe" worked at the hop field around Deadman Ferry for a Jess Seavy. They lived in a tent. "Jenny" became sick with cancer and died in the tent - probably 1912.
