Keyes, of 1145 C Street, Springfield, passed away January 23, 1969, at a local hospital. He was born May 19, 1898, in Palo use, Washington. He had been employed by Pacific Power and Light, and had been a resident of this community for the past 50 years. He is survived by his son, Donald, of Eugene, five daughters: Hazel Salo, of Rufus, Oregon, Dora Edwards of Eugene, Elsie Cooley, of Springfield, Ginny Darkins, of Eugene. Fifteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Wilson, of Veneta, two sisters: Goldie Peterson, of Veneta, and Hattie Burnett, of Emderly, British Columbia. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 1969, at 10 a.m., in BUELL CHAPEL.
