Neb. - F born Iowa - M born Ohio - farm laborer - home farm ___________________________________________ The Register Guard, Eugene, Ore., July 29, 1929, p 2: Silas Peterson, 75, Dies in Springfield Silas Peterson died at his home in Springfield early Sunday morning. He was almost 75 years of age and was born in Waterloo, Ia. Mr. Peterson has been married 52 years. Survivors besides his widow, Mrs. Nancy Peterson, include five sons, Don (sic), Joe, Albert, Arthur and Clarence, and one daughter Mrs. Mary Hathaway of Kansas City, Mo. Ten grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held from the Walker-Poole chapel of Springfield at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon, Rev. C. J. Pike officiated and the interment was in the Mt.
