  wife--Nancy, son--John, daughters--Elizabeth, Ann, Polly, Sarah, Peggy and Martha. ------------------- FULL WILL OF JOHN FINNEY, JR: "South Carolina I John Finney of the State and Laurens District District aforesaid, being of a sound and perfect memory doe constitute this my last will and testament and hope it may be received by all as such first I give my body to Earth from whence It was taken, secondly I desire that all my lawful debts be paid with my funeral expences thirdly I give and bequeath to my son John Finney one track of land whereon I now live containing fifty acres with all the appertenances to the same belong with all my house- hold & kitchen furniture plantation utensil and one Negro man by the name of Alex and all my horses and cattle sheep hogs etc fowls wagon etc and all that I shall be possessed with at my death I also have divided my estate with my wife Nancy Finney given her one half my estate & she has taken it in perfefsion at this time, that being all that I allow her & my daughters El- Izabeth Finney, Ann Finney, Polley Finney, Sarah Finney, Peggy Finney Martha Finney at the death of their mother Nancy Finney which other half that I have in perfefion now at this time I have given & do hereby confirm as thirdly devised to my son John Finney in witniss whereof thereunto set my hand & seal This the 24 day of January of 1820 Signed sealed in the preasents of us-- John Finney (SEAL) Jason Meadors Wm Copeland Polly Meadors
