Note: CENSUS DATA: In 1870 Nancy Bryant, age 32, born SC is living in Coosa Co., AL, Jordan Beat. Living with her were her children, W. J. Bryant, male, age 10, born AL; T.P. Bryant, male age 8, born AL. Also, her sister, Martha Dillard, female, age 21, born AL is living in the home. No husband shown. NOTE: Nancy is living next door to her brother, S.P. (Samuel Pinckney) Dillard. COMMENTARY: In 1870 the Dillard children were apparently taking care of their own since their parents, Jabez and Martha Finney Dillard, both were deceased before 1860. Also, we know Nancy's husband, George Bryant, was deceased prior to the 1870 census date.
