Perhaps, the reason for Alice Bell McCollister Pierce and her family living in the same house with Thomas Frank and his family (1930 census record data) may relate to the health condition of Thomas Frank's wife and impending death. Alice may have moved to Montgomery with her family to care for Thomas Frank's children during the illness of his wife. This is of course just supposition on the author's part.
