CENSUS DATA: The 1870 census of Carroll Co., Ga, 5th Div., Carrollton, taken 22 August 1870, page 14, shows George W. Aderhold, age 54, born GA and working as a miller. Living with him was: Josephus, male, age 16, born GA and shown as a cripple. No wife shown; apparently Nancy E. Bailey Aderhold had died between the 1860 census date and the 1870 date. NOTE: John Brown Bailey (Nancy E.'s brother) and family lived just down the road from Geo. W. Also, her nephew, Charlie (Gilmore) Bailey and family are shown living close by.
