Note: Not sure that the picture of the soldier is his picture. It was cropped from a group of soldiers (he is in the group), but not certain this is him. Was overseas for 2 months in World War I before he was Killed in Action by enemy machine gun fire. He is listed as "T. C. Kyle" on a list of people buried in Cedar Hill cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama, but this is thought to be only to honor his memory. On the same list beside his name is noted, "Somewhere in France". Later, the military indicated that he is buried in France in: "Grave #1, Sec. N, Plot 1, American B/A Cty., Fismes, Marne".
