Hello David- The cemetery is on Benders Ferry Rd. (off of Lebanon Rd/HWY 70) just north of where Cooks Church Rd (As it is called from the right) and Liberty Chapel Rd. (as it is called on the left.) This is west of Hwy 109. The cemetery is in a grove of trees that is on an embankment above the road on the left, just before the first house on the left. Last time I went there, the folks at that first house had a setup where they would put produce from their garden on a table by the mailbox and had a place for people to leave money. I asked several times for permission to visit and they seemed surprised that I did so, even though it is on their land. [See attached satellite view] The cemetery is either one fairly big one that has few graves to be seen in the middle, or 2 smaller cemeteries with one on the south end (away from the house) and one on the north end, closer to the house. You want the north end. Narcissa's grave is fairly far back away from the road, within sight of where the far (west) side of the grove ends and overlooks a large field. At least there was a field there a few years ago. They may have built condos there by now. At any rate, Narcissa's marker was about 4 graves from that west side, I have no idea how far in the grove from the north but I think you could see or almost see the house. Lots of trees and heavy underbrush. My bet is that it is lying on the ground. It is one of those that has a loose headstone that fits into a sort of socket in a stone that is embedded in the ground. Over the years the socket and stone wear enough to no longer make a good fit. I chinked the connection with some stones the last time I re-erected it, but that was meant to be temporary. I have intended to take a cast of the stone so I could have a duplicate socket made to keep the stone erect while leaving the old socket there beside the new one for preservation purposes.
