  ZULLINGER, Pa. - John Daniel Riley, 76, of Zullinger, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, at Waynesboro Hospital, Waynesboro, Pa.
  Born Nov. 4, 1920, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Bion Stanley Riley and Grace M. Calimer Monn.
  He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Grace Monn Riley, in 1966.
  He was employed as a laborer by Bonded Applicators of Waynesboro for many years.
  He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Army military police in Hawaii.
  He was a member of Waynesboro Fish and Game Protective Association.
  He is survived by one sister, Nellie V. Geddes of Greencastle, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
  He was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Monn; two brothers, Bion E. Riley and Stanley E. Riley; and stepfather, Maurice M. Monn.
  Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor Roger K. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Quincy, Pa.
  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Waynesboro Fish and Game Protective Association, P.O. Box 368, Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
