a. Note:   She was baptized as Anna Susanna Auguste. Augusta arrived in New York City 28 April 1894 aboard the seamship "Augusta Victoria" out of Hamburg. Her occupation was "cook" and name was spelled as Auge.Dzialles. The ship left Hamburg 19 Apr 1894. As a Protestant she was not married in any Catholic church I have found. How she met Vincent Aman and the circumstances of her marriage are unknown. She was known as aunt "Gusty" to the family.
