Albert was a carpenter and held the contract to build the Christian Reformed Church on N Goodman St. He died of heart disease and was buried 10 Nov 1947 in Mt Hope Cemetery Range 3 SW 1/4 lot 418. His monument gives an incorrect year of birth as 1873.
