He applied for naturalization 26 Sept 1860 #8664 file 35 under the name of Charles Gebhardt. The witnesses at his second marriage were Henry Ziegler & Andreas Huber. Christoph was an early photographer in Rochester. Later he was a pedler with horse & wagon after moving to Lincoln St. Cause of death was listed as endocarditis & dropsy.
