Note: Katharina Leis made application in August 1856 & emigrated from Stockheim via Bremen aboard the "Tuiska" arriving in New York City 13 Oct 1856. She died of bronchial lung disease and was buried from Holy Redeemer RC Church 15 Feb 1875 in Section 12 #33 of Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Her sister, Frances Keiber would be buried next to her.
