He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His kindness and sense of humor were a blessing to all those around him. Paul was born on December 21, 1931. He married his sweetheart Jo Ann Batte on December 26, 1952. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955. After 1955, Paul made his home in Corpus Christi, Texas. His life was guided by his faith in Jesus Christ. Paul wasa longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church. He served on several church committees and volunteered with the youth of the church. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over twenty years, serving over a decade as a scoutmaster. During this time he passed on his values and his love of the outdoors to many young men. Paul took great pleasure in the splendor of God's creation. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. His greatest joy came fromspending time with his family. He cherished his wife, supported his sons and granddaughters in all their endeavors, and opened his heart to his daughters-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mildred Jordan and brothers, Lloyd Hughes and James Jordan. His love lives on in the lives of his wife, Jo Ann Jordan; his sons, Stephen (Margaret) Jordan and Michael (Marie) Jordan, granddaughters, Amanda Jordan and Kimberly (Bryan) Willows; brothers, John (Jessie) Jordan and Bill(Virginia) Jordan; his sisters-in-law, Pam (Ronnie) Reumuth and Anne [sic] Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.
