Note: Birth: Jan. 12, 1934 in NYC Occupation: Artist Source: Marquis Who's Who TM. Marquis Who's Who, 2007. Source Citation When I turned thirteen my Aunt Rosa Pucci gave me a gift- a small packet of reproductions of Raphael's paintings. On the overleaf she inscribed, "Art does affect the lives of men; it moves to ecstasy, thus giving colour and movement to what be otherwise a rather grey and trivial affair." The intonation of this phrase today makes me believe that an act of art echoes on, invoking a continuing music, a vitality for the future while all else turns into the dust of history.
