8/19/02 When my parent were first married they lived in an upstairs apt in a house over on Plymouth Rd, right off of Sandy Hill Rd in Plymouth Meeting. I thinks it was owned by a Mrs. Betts. I remember my Dad worked 2 jobs, one was at Weilmanns down off of Steirgere St in Norristown and he worked at night in a gas station at the sharp corner of Swede and Markley St.. Later on after they bought a house in King of Prussia in Brandywine Village at 136 Walker Rd. It was a small rancher, which we lived in till I was in 6th grade. Then we moved another section over to Candlebrook to new "Salem" houses at 418 Old Fort Rd. Here they lived until Oct of 2002. My Dad worked a couple years at Weilmanns, then worked for a short time for an aeronautical company on Church rd. in King of Prussia, then settled in for the rest of his career at Hale Fire Pump Co. in Conshocken, Pa. He was a machinist, who could just about operate any kind of machine, including the newer tape driven machines. I visited him at the site occasionally over his career.
