Note: Biographical Notes of Interest Charles William Parrott was born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, July 21, 1906. Educated in Memphis, Tennessee public schools. Married forty-six and half years to Mary Blanche Carr. Died about 1:15 A.M. March 9, 1975. Ordain a deacon Boulevard Baptist Church, South Parkway, Memphis, Tennessee, December 14,1958. Employed by Ford Motor Company plant at Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee until it closed, about thirty years. In his last years he was president and part owner of A. B. Machine & Equipment Company at Memphis, Tennessee. A deacon and former Sunday School teacher of Boulevard Baptist Church of which he had been a member for fifty-two years in the month he died. He was on the Church Receiving Committee at the time of his death. 1. He was a Past Master and present Treasurer of O. K. Houck Lodge. 2. A 32 KCCH Scottish Rite Mason. 3. Past High Priest and present Recorder of O. K. Houck Royal Arch Mason. 4. Member of Eureka Council R.S.M. 5. Knights Templar of St. Elmo Commandery. 6. Member of the Red Cross of Constantine. 7. Member of Al Chymia Temple of the Shrine. Masonic Memorial Service was held at 7.00 P.M. on March 9, 1975. Services: Memphis Funeral Home Chapel, 1177 Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee at 2 P.M. March 10, 1975. Officiating: Dr. C. M. Pickler and Rev. Albert Gisler Sermon Notes: Brother Gisler read scripture and prayed. Dr. Pickler spoke on friendship, fellowship with God, friends and family.
