Note: ELIZABETH EDGOOSE 1667-1706 Elizabeth, daughter of Anthony and Frances EDGOOSE, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 24 February 1666/67. Anthony EDGOOSE had married Frances CAWDRON at Pinchbeck on 7 July 1663. In his will made on 3 March 1694 Richard EDGOOSE of Whitechapel, Middlesex, refers to the daughter of Anthony EDGOOSE: "Item I give to my Brother Anthony EDGOOSE Daughter And the children of John HAMMORTON (the number not being Knowne) the sum of twenty five pounds to be Equally devided a mongst them according to the discression of my Excecuttors And not otherwise". (LMA MS9172/93 Will No. 70) The implication is that only one of Anthony's daughters was still living: Mary (1664-1716), the wife of Nathan PEGG, or Elizabeth (1667-1706). Anthony, base born son of an Elizabeth EDGOOSE, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 26 March 1702. An Eliz: EDGOOSE, spinster, was buried at Pinchbeck on 24 July 1706. (PR) NOTES & QUERIES: Was she "my brother Anthony EDGOOSE daughter" referred to in the will of Richard EDGOOSE (1623-1702)? (revised 07.08.2013)
