"In The Name of God Amen I John ABORN of Pinchbeck in the County of Lincoln farmer being Sick and Weake in body but of Perfect Mind and Memory Blessed be Almighty God for The same and Calling to Mind The Uncertainty of Life do Make and Ordain This to be My Last Will and Testament as follows... I Give Unto My Son William ABORN The sum of Eighty pounds to be paid to him My Said Son within Six Months After My Decease by my Executer [sic] herein After Mentioned I Give Unto My Son Thomas ABORN The sum of fifty pounds to be paid to him my said son within Six months After my Decease by My Executer herein After Mentioned I Give Unto My Daughter Mary EDGOOSE The Wife of John EDGOOSE The sum of Ten pounds to be paid to her My said Daughter Within Six months After my Decease by My Executer hereinafter Mentioned I Give Unto My Daughter Elizabeth ABORN The Sum of forty pounds and The Best Bed and Chest of Drawers one Seeing Glass and half The Linning Belonging to The House: Also I Give Unto my Daughter Anna ABORN The sum of forty pounds and The Next Best Bed One Tea Table with The Other part of The Linning Belonging to The House and further my will is ........... my said Daughter Anna ABORN five pounds to be Layd Out in Education of my Said Daughter And further my will thereto abovesaid Two Legacies of forty pounds Each Shall be paid into the Hands of Mr. Robart TUNNARD within Six months After My Decease for The Use of my said Two Daughters Untill They shall Attain The Age of Twenty One years And I do Also Nominate and Appoint The said Mr. Robart TUNNARD be Gaurdian [sic] and Trustee for My Two said Daughters Untill They shall Attain The Said Twenty One Years All The Rest of my Goods Cattell and Chattells and Personable Estate Whatsoever and Wheresoever I Give Unto My son John ABORN Whome I make Whole and Sole Executer of This my last Will and Testament he My said Son John ABORN paying all my Just Debts Legecies [sic] and funeral Expences: In Witness Whereof I have here unto sett my hand and seal This Twenty Third Day of Aprill in The Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Three Sealed published and Declared by the Above Named John ABORN to be his Last Will and Testament in The presence of Us who have hereunto Subscribed our Names as Witnesses in The presence of The Testator Robt TUNNARD Henry ALLAT (signed) John ABORN Samll WILKINSON"

John ABORN was buried at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 2 December 1763, several months after the burial of his daughter Mary EDGOOSE at Gosberton, Lincolnshire, at the age of 25.
