Note: THOMAS MOSELEY "THOS. MOSELEY of the Little Minories London wine cooper Son of Jno, MOSELEY of Martins in the ffields Cordwainer Deceased & Sarah EDGOOSE Daughter of Richard EDGOOSE of Rose Mary Laine in the Parish of White Chappell Iron Monger HAVING Declared their Intentions of taking each other in Marriage before Sevrral Publick Meetings of the People of God called Quakers in London, according to the Good Order Used a mong them, Whose Proceedings therein, after a deliberate Consideration thereof (with regard unto the Righteous Law of God, and Example of his people Recorded in the Scriptures of Truth in that Case) were approued by the Said Meetings they appearing Clear of all others, & having Consent of Parents & Relations Concerned, NOW these are to Certifie all whom it may Concern, that for the full accomplishing of their Said Intentions, this fourth day of the Ninth Month, called November in the Year, according to the English Account One Thousand Seven Hundred & One, they the said Thos. MOSELEY and Sarah EDGOOSE appeared in a Publick Assembly of the aforesaid people, & others met together for that end, in their Publick Meeting place at Devonsheir (sic) House London and in a Solemn Manner, he the said Thomas MOSELEY taking the said Sarah EDGOOSE by the hand did openly declare as ffolloweth, ffriends & ffriendly people in the fear of the Lord and in the presence of this Assembley whom I desire to be my witnesses I take this my ffriend Sarah EDGOOSE to be my wife promissing through the Lords Assistance to be to her a faithfull & louing Husband untill it Shall please the Lord by Death to Separate us, & then & there in the Said Assembley the Said Sarah EDGOOSE did in the like Manner declare as ffolloweth, ffriends in the fear of the Lord & in the presence of this Assembly whom I desire to be my witnesses I take this my ffriend Thos MOSELEY to be my Husband promissing through the Divine Assistance of the Lord to be to him a faithfull & loving wife till it shall please the Lord by Death to Separate us, And the said Thos. MOSELEY and Sarah EDGOOSE as a further Confirmation thereof did then & their (sic) to these presents set their Hands, and we whose Names are hereunto Subscribed being present among others, at the Solemnizing of their Said Marriage & Subscription in Manner aforesaid, as witness hereunto, have allso to these Presents Subscribed our Names, the Day and Year aboue written Thos: MOSELEY Sarah: EDGOOSE" "Thomas MOSELY (sic), of Rose Mary Lane, in the Parish of White Chappell, Ironmonger, Aged about 32 years, Dyed the 29th. day 11/mo: called January, 1706, Searchers Report of a Feaver and was Buryed in ffriends Burying Ground, near Coverlie Fields the 2d 12/mo: following."
