Note: MARY EDGOOSE nee PLURRET 1688 -1722 ******************************************************** Mary, daughter Thomas and Elizabeth PLURRETT, was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 18 October 1688. John EDGOOSE junior married Mary PLURRITT at Pinchbeck on 15 June 1704. (PR) John EDGOOSE yeoman was buried at Pinchbeck on 13 October 1706. Wllm WATCHHORNE married Mary EDGOOSE, widow, at Pinchbeck on 23 May 1714. William, son of William and Mary WATCHHORNE, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 13 May 1715. Henry, son of William and Mary WATCHHORNE, was baptised at Pinchbeck on 18 February 1718. He was buried at Pinchbeck on 20 February the same year. (PR) She was mentioned in the will of her father Thomas PLURRITT in 1721: "I give to my daughter Mary WATCHORNE the Sum of One pound One Shilling & Six pence" LCC Will 1721/ii/210) Mary, wife of William WATCHHORNE, was buried at Pinchbeck on 20 March 1721/22. (PR) Gosberton Dikereeve's Account Book contains several references to a William WATCHORN in 1722 and 1723 in the "Account of the Mixt Work Bewtixt Gosberton & Surfleet": "Pd to William WATCHORN as Per Bill £00-03-00" "Pd to William WATCHORN as Per Bill £00-02-01" "Pd to Wm. WATCHORN for 12lb Spikes for Shopdike Bridge as Per Bill £00-5-0" "Pd to Wm. WATCHORN for a Cap for ye Goat Doors & for Carrying it down & putting it on £00-5-6" "Pd to Wm WATCHORN for 2 Staples £00-1-0" A William WATCHORN was buried at Surfleet on 6 April 1724 (revised 30.07.2017)
