"IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Thomas PLURRITT of Pinchbeck in the County of Lincoln Yoman Being Sick & Weak in Body but of Sound & perfect mind & Memory (blessed be God for it) Do make & Declare this my Last Will & Testam(en)t in manner following And first being penitent & Sorry from the Bottom of my heart for my Sins past most humbly desiring forgiveness of the same I Give & committ my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it hoping thro(ough) the meritts of Jesus Christ to have full Remission & forgiveness of my sins here committed & Life Everlasting in the kingdom of Heaven And my body I committ to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix & Exec(uto)r hereafternamed And as for my Worldly Estate I Give and dispose of the Same as follows(Vizt) IMPRI(M)IS I Give to my daughter Mary WATCHORNE the Sum of One pound One shilling & Six pence Item I Give to my daughter Elizabeth PLURRITT the Sum of Two hundred pounds (part of which is already put out at Interest in my name for her use) to be paid to her when She Shall attain her Age of One & Twenty Years by my Executrix & Exec(uto)r hereafternamed And it is my Will that the Interest of the S(ai)d Two hundred pounds Shall be employ(e)d and go for the board Cloathing & Education of my S(ai)d daughter Elizabeth PLURRITT untill She attain her said age of One & Twenty Years And if She dye before She attain the S(ai)d Age of One & Twenty Years Then I Give the S(ai)d Two hundred pounds to my Son Thomas PLURRITT Item I Give to my loving wife Mary The Messuage wherein I dwell with all my Lands thereunto belonging or therewith used (with the Appurtenances) during her Natural Life and after her decease I Give & devise the S(ai)d messuage & lands with the Outhouses and Appurt(enance)s thereunto belonging To my S(ai)d Son Thomas PLURRITT and the heirs of his body Forever And for want of Such heirs To my S(ai)d daughter Elizabeth PLURRITT and the heires of her body And in default of Issue of my S(ai)d daughter Elizabeth PLURRITT To my Grandson Thomas PLURRITT (Son of my Son John PLURRITT dec(ease)d) and to the heirs of his body forever and for want of Such to the right heirs of my Said Son John PLURRIT [sic] forever Item all the rest & residue of my Goods Chattels ready Money Plate Cattle & debts and all my Estate Real & Personal whatsoever & wheresoever (after my debts Shall be paid Legacies Satisfied & Funeral Expenses discharged) I do hereby give & bequeath unto my S(ai)d wife Mary & to my S(ai)d Son Thomas PLURRITT whom I make joint & Sole Ex(ecutr)ix & Exec(uto)r of this my Will and Revoke all Former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal the Sixteenth day of January Anno D(o)mi(ni) 1720 Thomas X PLURRITT his mark Signed Sealed and Declared by the S(ai)d Thomas PLURRITT as for & to his Last Will & Testam(en)t In the Presence of Eliza: X GLOVER her mark Robt X BROWN his mark J EVERARD (LCC Will 1721 ii 210)
