Note: WILLIAM DOWAGER 1698-1762 William, son of John DOWAGER and Mary, was baptised at Whaplode, Lincolnshire on 18 March 1697/98 William DOWAGER and Elizabeth GIBSON were married at Whaplode St. Mary, Lincolnshire, on 9 January 1722/23. (PR) William DOWAGER and Hannah MEARS were married at Whaplode St. Mary, Lincolnshire, on 20 October 1728. (PR) The date and place of his marriage to Magdalen has not been traced. Hannah, daughter of William DOWAGER by Magdalen, was baptised at Whaplode, Lincolnshire, on 10 February 1747/48. (PR) William DOWAGER was buried at Whaplode St. Mary, Lincolnshire, on 23 November 1762.
