The parish register of Bourne, Lincolnshire, records the burial on 30 October 1751 of "EDGOOSE a stranger". (PR) NOTES & QUERIES: 1) Was it really this same John EDGOOSE who was apprenticed to John MIDDLETON? 2) When and where did John EDGOOSE die? Was he the "Edgoose a stranger" buried at Bourne, Lincolnshire, on 30 October 30 1751. 3) Are his sons John and James the John EDGOOSE of Gosberton and the James EDGOOSE of Kirkby-on-Bain? 4) Is he the John EDGOOSE pauper who was buried at Cowbit, Lincolnshire, in 1750? Probably not, because that John EDGOOSE was described as a bachelor. 5) Is this the John and Mary EDGOOSE whose daughter Mary was born and baptised at St. Leonard, Shoreditch, in 1733?
