Note: RACHEL EDGOOSE 1717- Rachel, daughter of John and Elizabeth EDGOOSE (sic), was baptised at Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire, on 19 October 1717. (PR) It is probable that she was the daughter of the John and Elizabeth EDGOOSE who married at Kirton-in-Holland, Lincolnshire, on 17 April 1711. In his will made on 6 April 1720 Thomas EDGOOSE of Pinchbeck, husbandman, refers to John, Mary, and Rachell EDGOOSE, the children of his brother John EDGOOSE. His brother John EDGOOSE was living and, of the three children, John was under 21 and Mary and Rachell were under 17.
